PHILOSOPHY

Educational Philosophy

― — Learning will propel you higher — ―

Using language as wings to cultivate intelligence for the global society

Based on the philosophy of the “Reference Framework for Japanese Language Education,” our school adopts Can-do (action-oriented approach) as the foundation of education and develops the five skills of 「Listening」 「Reading」 「Speaking (Interaction)」 「Speaking (Presentation)」and 「Writing」 in an integrated manner, thereby enabling students to acquire practical Japanese language proficiency necessary for further education and social life, and fostering the ability to think, make decisions, and act independently.

Furthermore, while respecting the individuality and goals of each student, our school fosters an attitude of autonomous and continuous learning by utilizing various assessment methods, such as portfolio assessment, performance assessment, self-assessment, and peer assessment.

In addition, our school deepens student’s understanding of Japanese culture, while fostering rich humanity that respects diverse cultures and values and places importance on connections with the local and international communities, with the educational philosophy of nurturing human resources who contribute to the formation of a multicultural and inclusive society and who serve as a bridge connecting Japan and the world.
