2-Year Higher Education Preparation Course

  • 🎯 Target Goal Upper-Intermediate 3 (B2.3)

2-Year course for students aiming to systematically develop their Japanese language skills from A1 to B2.3 level and pursue further education at universities  in Japan.

Prep Course

1-Year 6-Month Higher Education Preparation Course

  • ⏰ Total Hours 1,200 Class Hours
  • 👥 Capacity 30 students
  • 🌱 Entry Level A1
  • 🎯 Target Goal Upper-Intermediate 1 (B2.1)

1-Year 6-Month course for students aiming to intensively develop their Japanese language skills from A1 to B2.1 level and pursue further education at vocational schools in Japan.

GOALS

TARGET

Beginner (A1) Can engage in simple communication when the other person speaks slowly, carefully, and clearly. Can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and basic phrases.
Elementary (A2) Can understand commonly used sentences and expressions related to topics directly relevant to them. Can communicate about familiar, everyday matters in situations that require a simple exchange of information.
Intermediate 1 (B1.1) Can communicate with some degree of coherence about familiar and personally relevant topics, such as family, hobbies, travel, and everyday life, including sharing personal experiences and hopes and exchanging information with others.
Intermediate 2 (B1.2) Can explain experiences and feelings on familiar topics related to school and social life, and exchange opinions with others by expressing ideas and views in a logical order with supporting reasons.
Intermediate 3 (B1.3) Can understand the main points of extended texts and conversations in standard Japanese on familiar topics encountered in everyday life, such as school and entertainment, as well as social topics related to their own lives and experiences. Can express opinions and exchange views with others, giving reasons and specific examples to support their ideas.
Upper-Intermediate 1 (B2.1) Can understand the main points of complex discussions on social and cultural topics. Can express thoughts and opinions using a structured approach of opinion, reasons, examples, and conclusion, while exchanging views with others by understanding their perspectives and opinions.
Upper-Intermediate 2 (B2.2) Can identify and understand relevant information from multiple sources on academic and social topics, compare and organize the information, and clearly communicate their own thoughts and opinions with well-founded reasoning and specific examples.
Upper-Intermediate 3 (B2.3) Can understand the key points of complex academic topics and information, integrate information from multiple sources, and express ideas and opinions logically. Can approach problem-solving collaboratively with others from multiple perspectives.
